#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in July 28 2017

Hey FitReaders! It is time for your weekly check-in (feel free to use whatever day you want to check-in–these posts will be going up on Fridays)! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of exercise? Are you on track with your other health goals! I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it!

So this week I was laid up due to falling on a baby gate (my stomach and ribs were bruised). I maintained which is good with limited exercise. I am on light exercise for two weeks so I am hoping to just maintain.

  1. I still can’t believe you bruised your rib on a baby gate… that’s so something I would do! Take it easy, glad you were able to maintain. I’ve gained a decent amount over summer break, just got too complacent. But I started back into my daily – scheduled (that’s the key for me) – workouts last week and I’m set to eat better this week. Fingers crossed!

  2. Baby gates are a danger to all who use them. I don’t know how many time I fell over them when the kids were younger, so glad we don’t need them anymore. Hope you feel better!

  3. Trying to maintain a good exercise routine. Upped it a notch this week and I’m so sore!! But if you feel like it, check out Fitness Blender, Pop Sugar & Cafe Moms on YouTube if you haven’t yet. They have amazing routines from easy to punishing.

    I’m so frustrated though because the scale isn’t moving so maybe I should stay off it before I go insane.
