#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in Jan 20 2017

#FitReaders hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About.

Hey FitReaders! It is time for your weekly check-in (feel free to use whatever day you want to check-in–these posts will be going up on Fridays)! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of exercise? Are you on track with your other health goals! I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it!

This week was a HORRIBLE eating week. I admit to 2 boxes of Thin Mints —ALL GONE! What can I say I love Thin Mints. I am not buying more so I will call it my yearly binge. Some weeks are like that and I am back on the meal planning train so I’m not going to beat myself up about it too much 🙂 It was also not a great walking week due to my sinus infection (I was down 3 days last week—my check-ins are for the week before).  All in all could have had a better week but totally looking forward not back 🙂

  1. Wait… how did you get your Thin Mints already? Haha. I mean, I’m a leader and my girl sells them, so I’m in a bit of trouble when ours comes in next month. The cookies won’t break you! *hugs*

  2. Ah girl scout cookies. Both Angie and a co-worker are selling them and somehow I’ve resisted! Doesn’t mean I had a great eating week… I didn’t. But it cold have been worse, right? I got in two workouts during the week, which is less than I aim for, but better than nothing. I guess that’s my motto for last week – I did better than my worst, but not my best 🙂 This week will be better! Hope you’re feeling better … I can feel myself starting to fight something :/

  3. Ahh…Girl Scout cookies – we are big fans of the Thin Mints in my house, too. My husband devours whole sleeves of them in one sitting as well! I like the peanut butter ones with the chocolate, but only 1 or 2 at a time. We haven’t bought any yet – unless my husband bought some at work, which he sometimes does – and he goes crazy and buys 10 or 15 in one shot! Anyway…I agree with Georgia – it’s a once a year binge, so don’t beat yourself up about it!

Have a great week and good luck with your meal planning this week – you got this!!!

  4. Oh sheesh, Girl Scout cookies, I would kill for some Caramel Delights right now. The fluffy woman voice inside me is insisting I deserve a box for finishing my first virtual 5K today,

  5. Girl Scout cookies don’t really count if you only eat them once a year. I only like the caramel and coconut ones anyway, so that helps. Hope you are feeling better. The pictures of the dogs walking you have made me giggle.
15k per day steps average in (I know I had 12k on 1/12 but it shows 10k but I had over 13k)
Ran at least a 5k per day even with forgetting to turn it on Wednesday and having to do an extra mile.
I am running a 15k race on 2/4 with a friend, I may have lost my mind! I have set a 2 hour goal for the race.
43 days of tracking my food. I am not 100% eating clean but I have cut out a lot of the junk. Plus I have really been drinking lots of water.
And I need to add to my blog. I want to add that fitness helps you be a better diver with less fatigue and better air consumption. It’s just been a little crazy lately.
