I got 12k steps in every day with one day with 36k steps (I was in a challenge). Plus two gym visits.
I have been eating mostly paleo /Whole 30 (going low carb, no fast food, no processed food) and at a 500 calorie deficit and I have lost 2 lbs since I started at the beginning of the month. It’s been hard but it’s doable.
Great job on your week. I need to watch my eating better – it’s not just fast food for me. But eating out in general. I gained 3 lbs when I was at CMCon and this week, I gained another 0.5 lbs because I’ve been eating whatever and whenever. At least I’m still able to get in my steps, even in this cold!
Ah fast food, the down fall of all busy families! One time a week is really pretty good. I find it’s impossible to avoid, especially on busy weeknights when I’m rushing back and forth to my kids activities, I just try to pick the healthiest options on the menu, and ask for modifications (such as no cheese, etc.) whenever possible.
I had a generally good week. Kept to my 4 times a week of exercise. Still a couple of sneaky pounds managed to find there way on to the scale this week. I plan to work more on eating healthier and getting more water (not sure I’ll get the full 8 glasses), but every bit more is an improvement!
Sugar is my big diet downfall. I also love coffee shop drinks but I was good this week and even when we had a department heads meeting there I didn’t buy anything. On the not so good side I indulged in chocolate and I didn’t get my steps in last Sunday or today ( though I have an excuse as I am not feeling well).
Good job and good luck with your goals for this week!
I took it easy this past week – trying not to get sick so I could make sure to be able to be at the hospital for the birth of my newest niece!!! My downfall when it comes to being out is all the chai tea latte’s I consume…they are my weakness!!!
Never seen chicken biscuits but if Brandie says they hardly count as fast food – there you are! I had a good week, just getting in my steps goal. Food I don’t worry about although so hot, salads are the thing!
I forgot to cross the 5 k line, must go do that
Chicken biscuit hardly sounds like fast food, so does it even count? lol. Great job!
I ran 6 of 7 days and ran my second 5k race of the year on Saturday. Doing pretty good for the month!
I did my 2nd 5k for February and trying to make sure I get more stretching in. I tend to do pretty good with the varied workouts but not the flexibility/stretching that I need to do more of.
You did great!
