#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in August 14 2015
Hey FitReaders! It is time for your weekly check-in (feel free to use whatever day you want to check-in–these posts will be going up on Fridays)! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of exercise? Are you on track with your other health goals! I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it!
This week sucked! Before I total up whether I hit step goal let me say that this week taught me a lot about doing it even when you really want to curl up in a ball and say screw it. I think weeks like this are important. They prove we can pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and that it is OK to be off occasionally. So Saturday I was in a car wreck, Tues/Wed I worked 17 hour days, CC was stolen Wed, and yet I had a lot of blessings this week. I have my home, family, friends, and job. I am A-OK but my steps might not have been LOL (especially Wed where I was like NOPE NOT MOVING)
- Friday: 6881 steps/ 35 Active Min
- Saturday: 9192 steps/ 29 Active Min
- Sunday: 11352 steps/ 52 Active Min
- Monday: 8864 steps/ 50 Active Min
- Tuesday: 6852 steps/ 28 Active Min
- Wednesday: 3337 steps/ 0 Active Min
- Thursday: 10707 Steps (7pm/fitbit charging)/ 58 Active Min
Average: 8169 steps
So while I met my step goal overall wasn’t my greatest fitness week. In fact, every time I met/exceeded goal was because I forced myself too. While I prefer organically—I like that I am committed enough to make it happen when I don’t want too. I haven’t had a coke since last Friday and down to 3 meals a day (anything I want to eat)/ 1 snack. SO I am proud of that!
