2016 Virtual 5k/10k/Fun Mile Series July Finish Line

Welcome to #FitReaders hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About.
What is a Virtual Fun Mile/5k/10? This Virtual Fun Mile/5k/10k is organized online and FitReaders from all over the world can compete. Where it is different from a traditional Fun Mile/5K/10k is that you are responsible for completing the walk/run at any place you desire, at any time during the race timeframe that works for you. You must complete one of the 3 races in one session: 1 mile is for those just starting out. 5k/10 are for those that are ready for a bigger push. For this series, each race will need to be completed between the first and last day of the month. You will need to take a picture at the end of the race (not of your face if you don’t want but your time, song list, ect) and post it either on FB, Twitter, or your check-in. Then add your name to the finish line below and what race you completed (in the comments) so that I can keep track for end of the year medals (for 5k/10k) and certificates (for Fun Mile). Grab your virtual ribbon so that you can display it proudly on your check-ins either on your blog, FB, or Twitter. If at the end of the year you have completed 10 of the 12 races–you will get a medal or certificate!
REMINDER: you most complete either a Mile, 5k, or 10k in one session. At the end of your session sign the linky below and leave which one you completed in the comment section!
Did you miss a month finishing your Virtual 5k or 10k Race or your 1 mile Fun Run? Did you recently join #FitReaders? Here’s your chance to make up those races! From now until the end of the year, you can count two races each month towards completing the race series. The first 1 mile, 5k, or 10k will be counted for the month it is completed, and the second 1 mile, 5k, or 10k can be used as a “make up” for a missed month. Just be sure to log in the comments of the finish line linky page which month the make up race is for. Questions? let me know.
So are you ready to lace up your sneakers? Are you ready to up your commit to fit?

(Didn’t mean to add my name twice…wasn’t letting me add it, and then when I refreshed the screen, I saw it was added twice – SORRY!)
I posted 2 links up there, the first one for my July Fun Mile and the second for my makeup Fun Mile for February. 🙂
I didn’t get in a 10k this month on account of my achilles and calf issues; however I did get in four 5ks. So I’m happy with that!
Added a second 5k (actually went over) to count for Jan since I didn’t join the party until March, still need to do Feb then I’ll be all caught up. Yay!
Did my Fun Mile for July! I’m hoping to complete another one before the end of the month as a makeup for February!
Just finished my July 5k. I walked this time so I could study for my upcoming exams. I’m glad that I can combine this.
July 5k done
Did my July 5k, yay!!
