#FitReaders: Commit to Exercise for January 2018

Welcome to #FitReaders hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog  and That’s What I’m Talking About.

It is time to commit to exercise for the month of January 2018  ! Whether you are just joining us, need to get back on the wagon, or just going to keep up your progress from last year– now is the time to stand up and say “I’m in! I’m committed to getting up and getting moving!”

This year brings a few changes from our previous years. On the first day of each month, Jen and I will post “Commit to be Fit” signups. You can use the comment section to add your name to the list and/or leave your month goals. Weekly checkin blog posts are optional. Remember there will be weekly check-ins, motivation on our Facebook Group and  Twitter under the #FitReaders hashtag.

  1. I love that you’re still doing this. I’m pretty good about working out but some days (like today) seeing that # on Twitter is the kick I need to get moving.

  2. I was really good at exercising in 2017 but not in keeping up with the #FitReaders community! In addition to my fitness goals, connecting with other group members is a goal too! It’s a lot for me to post the weekly check ins (I like that those are optional!) My main fitness goal for this month is to add in strength training to my routine. I run and do a lot of yoga, but want to add strength training to help me in some arm balance yoga poses! Gonna start with some kettlebell workouts!

  3. I’m in…between injuries and illnesses, I sort of let everything fall by the wayside the last few months, but I’m coming back strong in 2018!!! I’m still figuring out my goals, but I am thinking of walking another 1/2 marathon in the spring (crossing fingers no injuries to sideline me again!). And I desperately need to focus this year on strength-training!
