Date Read: April 2013
Genre: PNR, Romance
Wanted: Bride. Must love children. Mortals need not apply.
Carlos Panterra is looking for a mate, a woman who will love and care for the young orphans he's recently taken under his wing (or paw, as the case may be). When the shape shifter spies the beautiful Caitlyn, it's like sunshine amidst the darkness. At last, he's found the perfect woman, except . . .
Caitlyn Whelan is mortal. Worse, her father is the head of a CIA agency bent on hunting the undead. Still, Caitlyn knows that Carlos is the man for her, shape shifter or not. So she jumps at the chance when her sister offers her a job to work with him, determined to show Carlos their attraction is more than just animal magnetism. But danger lurks in the night, and their unleashed, untamed passion might just get them both killed . . .

First Thought when Finished: Eat Prey Love had a sexy shifter and stubborn female that made me laugh, grind my teeth, shake my head, and root for Forever After. TOTAL WIN!
Book Thoughts: I am slowly catching up on the Love at Stake series. So far, I haven’t been disappointed once. Carlos and Caitlyn were a match made in Paranormal Heaven! They both had hearts of gold and a stubborn streak a mile long. I love watching couples that have a great push/pull relationship because when that band whips them together you know there are sparks. Eat Prey Love was totally sexy, hot, and fun!
During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.
