Howdy Y’all! Β It is hour 4 for Dewey’s Read-a-Thon and time to have a little fun with your current read! Β This challenge is fairly simple but I am hoping for some awesome creativity.
Also because I am reading for charity each entry will equal a donation worth .50 cents and will go to theΒ Richardson Adult Literacy Center so make my pocket-book HURT!
The Challenge
- Take your current read or the one you just finished.
- ReTitle it with something clever
- Post to your blog, twitter, facebook, or goodreads with your snazzy new title!
Example:
I am reading Warrior Ascended by Addison Fox
I would rename this to: Smart Chick Rules the HAWT Warrior FTW (mostly because I don’t have to worry about too much writing on the book page) π
What would yours be?
- There will be one winner (chosen at random)
- They will be able to choose a book of their choice from Amazon (US) or Book Depository (Int) up to a $20 value
- The Challenge starts at 10am CST 4/27/13
- The Challenge ends at 2 pm CST 4/27/13
- Make sure to leave your link to your renamed book!
Thanks for Participating!

I did this challenge late, but my answer is on my blog. I couldn’t leave a url on this comment I guess it’s an anti-spam measure.
“The Buddha in the Attic” aka “A Laundry List”
Great challenge! People have come up with really funny titles! π
Great challenge and great that you’re reading for charity!
Done. This was FUN! π
Thanks for hosting this challenge!
Great challenge! For some reason I can’t leave my link so I’ll leave it here π
Woops, it worked! I’m amazing with computers (not) π
Your new title it’s pretty nice too! Btw, a really nice challenge you came up with! π
Fun challenge! Your re-title is pretty awesome too. Thanks for reading and hosting a challenge, Felicia π
I’m reading Emma by Jane Austen. If I were to re-title this book, I’d call it “Rich Girl with Too Much Time on Her Hands: The story of Messing with Poor Miss Harriet Smith.” I’ve never read this book before, but I can already see what will happen next!
Great challenge! Wish I’d read book that I could’ve been more clever with!
