HOW TO MAKE A DEMON HUNTER SEXYBy Lexi George
Start with a strapping, six foot plus alpha male warrior.Inject him with logic and a literal viewpoint of the universe. Replace sense of humor with an unwavering purpose and devotion to duty.
Load him up with muscles and super strength. Give him a pair of bedroom eyes, a smoke and whisky voice that would tempt a saint, and a body so perfect it would make a male underwear model shriek with envy.
Throw in the face of an archangel.
Endow him with superior strength, a bag of tricks (like invisibility and a built in translator), and several thousand years’ experience in warfare and the hunt.
Give him a magical weapon to use on demons and a different sort of ‘magical weapon’ to use in the bedroom.
Plant him in the Deep South and proceed to bewilder and confuse the heck out of him by having him fall in love for the first time in his eons’ long existence.Throw in chaos, danger, lots of lust, and add a bunch of zany.
Sit back and watch the fun.

Jess, I hope to unfold the Dalvahni's back story gradually as I write the books. My female characters' back story is in there, of course!
Good question, Laura! Names are tough, especially when it comes to the Dalvahni, because they are alpha male demon hunters from another dimension. They wouldn't have names like Bob or Frank. On the other hand, I don't want them to be off-the-wall and hard to pronounce. Answer: I do name research in baby name books and on the web. And I try to pick names for my guys that have a masculine meaning and a sharp, short sound. When it comes to my heroines, I sometimes pick a name because I like it, or I go through the name book until something grabs me. Names are important, because I can't start writing a character until I know their name! Djegrali, which is what my demon hunters call the demons they pursue, is a word I totally made up! (As is Dalvahni, for that matter!)

Brendajean, I write whenever and wherever I can. At lunch. On weekends. At Starbucks while waiting on my teenager with the endless extracurricular schedule. Sometimes, I take a day off to simply write. And while trying to finish book 2, I took a whole week off from work. It worked, because I made my deadline!

Maegan, I've always loved books and loved to read. I dabbled in poetry for years. Didn't start writing prose until about 16 years ago, when an idea for a fantasy romance came to me.
