Reason I borrowed this: I had never tried this author and I really wanted to. I will read Kylie again. If you have read her–what is your fav by her?

I liked catching up with my favorite characters and it was nice to dip my toe back into the world. It was a little slow at times but glad I borrowed it!

So the first book I picked up at the library this year was A Soupcon of Poison by Jennifer Ashley. I picked this up because I love (and I mean LOVE) her shifters and historicals. It seemed like a good way to try something different from her and I was glad that I did!

Quick Thoughts: These books are the perfect example of why I love my library card. I am always hit/miss with Space Drama books. I tend to like the ones that feel more grounded in community and this hit the spot.
