Donna’s Review: The Highlander is All That by Sabrina York

Read for Review (NetGalley)
I love this book! Anne, Elizabeth, Victoria and Mary live in London with their Aunt Esmeralda as their parents are deceased. They are distantly related to the Scottish Duke of Caithness who would like to see them find husbands. He sends Hamish Robb and Ranald Gunn, Baron of Bower, to watch over them and scrutinize their suitors. Elizabeth is the main heroine, but all the sisters find their true love. It’s one of the things I enjoyed about this book – more than one HEA.

Donna’s Review: The Devil’s Duke Katharine Ashe

Donna’s Review: The Devil’s Duke Katharine Ashe

This, in my opinion, is the best book Katharine Ashe has written and she has written some very good ones. We met Gabriel Hume, Duke of Loch Irvine, in the previous 2 books of this series, “The Rogue” and “The Earl”. Those glimpses didn’t begin to scratch the surface of the man you’ll come to know in “The Duke”.

Donna’s Review: Lady Charlotte’s First Love by Anna Bradley

Received for Review (Author Copy)
Charlotte Sutherland was in love with her brother-in-law’s cousin, Julian West, but when he joined the army to fight Napoleon, she married the Marquess of Hadley. She didn’t love Hadley as she did Julian and feels guilty over his accidental death from a fall off his horse. She avoids her family by staying to herself and her 3 widowed friends. Her sister and brother-in-law, Ellie and Cam, are very concerned over the places she and her friends go and don’t understand why she won’t come with them to the country estate.

Donna’s Review: Caught by the Scot by Karen Hawkins

This is the first book of Karen Hawkins’ new series and it’s wonderful! Brothers Conner, Jack and Declan Douglas arrive at the home of their brother-in-law, Lachlan (Duke of Hamilton) to discover their sister died giving birth to a baby boy who survived. According to her will they have 4 months to marry or their inheritance goes to the hated Campbells. Anna raised them after the death of their parents and wanted them to settle down. This book is Conner’s story.
