First Thought when Finished: Golden Trail by Kristen Ashley is the first one by her (I have read like 16) that I almost DNF’d, threw against the wall, and seriously might get a bit ranty about Layne!

Quick Thoughts: Year of No Sugar by Eve O. Schaub was just a total miss for me. I could not even fathom the extreme take on no sugar cold turkey for a whole family. Kudos to her for doing it and her family agreeing it.

First Thought when Finished: A Crafty Killing by Lorraine Bartlett had one of my worst Pet Peeves ever: leading character thinks she is smarter than the cops and thinks they can’t do their job.

Listened for Review (Penguin Audio)
Overall Rating: DNF

Audio Rating: 2.5 (not part of my overall rating)

Why did I give it 2 even though it was a DNF: Silver Bastard by Joanna Wylde was very much written true to the world that she set the story in. I actually appreciated that she didn’t pull any punches!
