I really wish I could pick 2.5 for Full Moon Rising. I really like Riley but I found the book a hard read in quite a few parts. It might be because it was a first of the series, I will try the second book eventually. I think it is an interesting world that the author has developed but she needed to spend a bit more on character development.

Dark Gold by Christine Feehan was another entry in the Dark Series. So the “arrogant” part continues but I think in this book she ends up giving a better explanation of why. I really liked Aiden/Alex arc–it showed growth on both of their parts and showed that they were willing to work on it. I loved Aiden’s human family and that they were an important part of the story! All in all it was a fun escapist read 🙂

So I was really looking forward to Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon and was extremely happy with the 2nd half of the story. The first part is a bunch of retelling of what has already been told in other books. Yes it was at times from a different perspective but still a bit to repetitive for me. I am hoping this is not a sign to come of Dev/Samia story but I don’t think it would happen since I think that will be a continuation.
