Welcome to Books & Crafts, a craft circle composed of book bloggers, a sporadic meme where we share our other creative pursuits aside from reading and blogging. Everyone is welcome to join, just add your tag/label links below and you’re good to go!
PS: No set day on this–I am going to try post at least every other week 🙂
I have some Harry Potter Hardcovers that have pages falling out (yes they are that well read) so I would like to recycle the covers, insides, and even jackets. So I am trying to decide what do with them. Here are a few things I am thinking….
Book Purse with the Outside
Book Coasters from the Inside
Decorate Wine Bottles
Something to do with the jackets..
I have also thought about Quote boards, ornaments, and jewelry! So what have you done with your falling apart and well-loved books? Let me know!
These books just hold a LOT of great reading memories and would like to preserve them in a way that will put all of it to use. I have new hardcover copies so I have some room to play 🙂
During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.
