Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in Oct 24 2014
Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time 🙂
This week I have completed 2 weeks of T25. I stuck with it even though the first week I gained 3 lbs and couldn’t really move during the day. I read up on new extreme work out routines and found out that it was pretty standard to gain first week because of muscle tearing (evidently you maintain a lot of water buildup around them). This week though I have dropped 5lbs so far (my official weigh in and stats day is tomorrow: Staturday) so it is starting to show. My clothes fit better. I am a size 14 but I will admit I was stuffing myself into my clothes a few weeks ago (I once had a doctor tell me to never buy bigger clothes–the best way to fight your weight gain is to refuse to go up). I grabbed my 12 jeans this morning just to test and I’m almost in them (I could button them but they were uncomfortable). My 14s are fitting like a champ! That is the best feeling in the world! I am excited to see if I lost inches tomorrow and I am glad I finally took them 🙂
