Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in Nov 28 2014
Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time π
This week I made the mistake of weighing in this morning (not something I suggest the day after Thanksgiving). Wasn’t horrible (just a 1.5 lb) but still not a great suggestion LOL
Hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving π December is around the corner. Let’s kick 2014 in the butt with an active and healthy December!

I always weigh-in first thing in the morning, always wearing the same thing (my PJs), and I only do one “official” weigh per week – same day each week (Mondays). This way I take out some of the factors like time of day (I always weigh more during the day and evening), day of the week (I’m always weighing in after the weekend, so it’s consistent!). Anyhow, that is not a huge gain for a day filled with eating and SALT! Keep us posted on how you do this week.
I had my weigh-in this morning, and after a 5-day-weekend of NON STOP eating, I was up over 3 pounds. But I know it will almost if not all go away this week when I get “back to normal.”
I didn’t do so great this week – it’s hard when you’re traveling. 1.5lbs isn’t that bad, considering it was a holiday!

I actually made myself go to the gym after Thanksgiving dinner. I’m proud of that and the fact I controlled myself. π 1.5lb isn’t bad…it’ll be gone by the afternoon.

That’s not too bad, but I agree that weighing yourself right after a holiday is not a good idea. I’ve been bad this week. I’m hoping to get back on the bandwagon next week.
