Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in

Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time πŸ™‚

This week I was pretty darn good though Wed/Thurs forgot to wear my Fitbit. I think I probably went over goal to compensate πŸ™‚

How did you do this week?

  1. I’m still doing great – going strong! Earlier this week I went for a 5.25 mile walk!! That’s the longest I’ve done in FOREVER – since I used to run before kids. We had a nice day and I just loved feeling the sun on my face. πŸ™‚

    • WOW great job! I walked 2 miles today. I could have done 3 easy but stopped. I’m going to work up to 3 miles a day and then 5 miles. I’ve never been a runner. I don’t know that my knees would let me start now. Maybe if I drop some weight I can work up to jogger. LOL

  2. Great job! Doesn’t it feel weird when you don’t wear your fitbit lol! I wear mine everyday and I automatically put it on. I’ve even forgotten my wedding ring or watch, but I would have my fitbit! Have a great weekend!

  3. The motivation of the number of steps keeps you going, this group’s existence motivates me. Oddly enough even if I rewarded myself in some way wouldn’t work like this group works!

  4. We didn’t do as well this week due to bad weather and a sick kid. We got three good days of walking in but not five. Oh well next week will be better.

Love this idea and I’ll be joining in with you πŸ™‚ I’m maintaining a 55lb weight loss, and walking has been one of my maintenance tools. Going to put up the button on my blog now!

  6. I didn’t sign up officially or write a post but I have been walking my son to school everyday this week. Roubd trip is a slow 30 minutes with a 4 year old in tow. πŸ™‚ I have heard a lot about the fitbit, I am going to have to look into getting one!

  7. Still not where I want to be, but I’m making progress. Having the team helps keep my motivation high. I think without it, I would become a couch potato again. Thanks everyone for the cheers.
