Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in March 7 2014
Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time 🙂
This week was a bit of stress walking for me. I should have my fitbit back by Saturday so I will be able to track steps. Nothing was really timed but I am guessing I got in 30 min a day (at least)

Gotta love stress walking … late checking in but I had a better week than the week before. Is your fitbit being replaced? I love mine, keeps me accountable, along with these check ins 😉
You’re doing great, sometimes the weather or even RL gets in the middle but go you!
Sorry to hear things were a bit stressful. Hope things calm down.
I continued to meet my goals and walked for at least 15 minutes each day. It was a bit of a shock coming back to the bitter cold after a week in Florida, but I still got out there each day. Thanks so much!!
30 minutes a day is great!! I’ve had a hard time getting a workout when I get home, so I started walking during my lunch hour (if the weather was good). It’s only 20 minutes but at least it’s some exercise (and it’s helped to clear my head since work right now is so stressful). Keep up the great work!!
30 minutes a day is excellent in my book!! I am still motivated by the commitment of the book bloggers, so thanks everyone.
You need to come up to Kansas and kick my patoot into gear.
I may get another in tonight, or spend the evening tromping around walmart trying to get the steps in while I get groceries. Nothing like fast walking to get the hell out of Walmart to put in some steps!
I’ve sucked for the 1st week. Weather has kept me inside and now my back is angry. I plan on walking and doing a Pilates class tomorrow at my community center.
I did well-ish
This week started off pretty slow for me, but then I hurt my back and started walking more because I just needed any excuse not to sit for extended periods. I upped my walks from 30 to 60 minutes! I’m hoping to get one in today, to give me 3 days of exercise out of 7 (not great, but not bad).
