Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in March 14 2014
Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time π
This week I SUCKED! I don’t know if it was the weather or the time change but I fell off the horse! You know what is funny? I didn’t feel as good this week (mood wise) either. I am back to walking and I have my fitbit back so the world is all good!

I discovered this lovely challenge just in time to head back to active duty (army). Does that count as cheating if I’m doing mandatory exercise?
It is not cheating! You are doing it and can inspire us (even if someone is making you LOL)
I managed to continue my streak of sticking to it! I even walked at least 20 minutes everyday! Woot!
Sorry you didn’t feel well, but glad you are back to it! You can do eet!
I did better this week. The weather here has been great so I have no excuse to not get some exercise. Sorry you had a bad week but that happens! At least you are being honest and this weekly check-in is good motivation. I hope you have a better week!!
Posted on my other blog, on twitter they are just everywhere so nice to have them in one place.
And I suck at my other blog anyway, I am trying to make it into a photo blog in Swedish but bleh, it’s so dark here in Finland, lol
Ok, my determination to figure out my blog issues won out over walking this week. Still haven’t figured out my problem. Hopefully over the weekend and then I will get back on the horse.
I sucked the big one this week. LOL But, to be fair, I hurt my back. π
I need to exercise, but I’m so lazy, I wasn’t like this, but don’t know what happened to me in the last couple of years.
I think I’m going to join you to force myself to do something and leave the excuses behind. .
I totally fell off the horse last week, but this week was better. We had weather in the 60s (finally), so I got to walk outside (which I love!). Here’s my week:
3/7: Rest
3/8: 2-mile walk + core pilates
3/9: 2-mile walk + lower body pilates
3/10: 4-mile walk + upper body pilates
3/11: 4-mile walk
3/12: Rest
3/13: 20-min outside walk
As you may have noticed, I completely fell off the wagon at the beginning of this year D: I blame the snow and completely impassable sidewalks though ;-). But, my plan of weight-lifting with a personal trainer has failed since I tore a disc in my back and now have to be on super low impact exercise for months, therefore walking time! It’s also finally starting to get nicer around here, so I’m hoping the path by my house is clear of snow soon. I need to get my audiobook listening on!
I did WAY better this week than last week.
This is my first time participating in blog walkers. I signed up a few weeks ago but didn’t do anything..now I am motivated! I know the time change has really messed with my sleep pattern! I time change time!! π Good luck with your walking as next week will be a great success!
