Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in Feb 14 2014
Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time 🙂
This week my energy and my stress levels were up so my walking was right on target! That is a great mix for success!
- Fri: 2 Miles
- Sat: 2 Miles
- Sun: 30 min stroll
- Mon: 2 Miles
- Tues: 2 Miles
- Wed: Off
- Thurs: Plan is for 3 miles tonight but it is nice outside so it might be 2 with the pups!

Wow! That’s great! I need to get motivated. Not my strong point. lol
Don’t you love it when everything aligns and you hit your target … way to go Felicia.
Wow, you’re doing really great! And this weather is so wonderful, I might just have to do an extra run this weekend to soak it in. So motivating 🙂
Great job! My week didn’t go as well because I was sick. But I’m planning to do better this week. Have a great weekend!
No post this week, but managed 5 days of exercise out of the 7, walking for about 30 minutes. No snow storms to combat – just windy warm weather. Keep going everyone.
Two weeks worth of check-ins. I totally forgot about last week! If it werent’ for my knees and a snow storm sidelined me for a bit this week. Back on my 5k training grind starting Saturday!
Thanks for hosting and keeping me motivated. I exercised my goal of 4 days this week despite the snow days. Shouldn’t my workouts be getting easier? They are just getting harder. Oh well, I still feel better when I have exercised, so I will keep trying!!
UGH… Well, that last comment was supposed to be in reply to Carmel… apparently I’ve stayed up too late and need sleep.
This week went good, in that I met my goals of moving 10 minutes and tracking food. I got to go skiing with the kids last Sunday and spent a while shoveling very heavy snow today. But while I tracked my food, I made some poor choices (like a quarter-pounder with cheese and medium fries). However, I just keep going and sticking to my plan!
Glad you are finally all better (or at least it seems so!)
I just saw your update and it wouldn’t let me comment, so I thought I’d tell you congrats here 🙂 weight lost AND getting out of bed to get in your 10 mins! Woot!
The conversion gives about 3.2 km.
I’m going to have to google what 2 miles is in km. LOL Sounds like you did really good this week though! You must be if you’ve progressed from counting in minutes to miles. If I make it out on Friday, I’ll have walked 5 days this week—a new personal best! But, we’re supposed to get a snow storm tomorrow so… I won’t count my chickens before they’re hatched. Hehe
We did really well on Tuesday, other days were as other weeks 🙂
