Book Blog Walkers: Weekly Check-in

Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time for your weekly check-in! How are you doing this week? Did you get a day, 2 days, 3 days of walking (or other exercise)? I am so very proud of you for making the effort to get heart healthy and putting exercise in your life. We can do it! Even if it is one step at a time 🙂

This week the back curse hit me on Monday! Friday/Saturday last week I got in an average of 6000 steps but this week I allowed myself half the steps as I worked out the soreness. So Mon/Tues I got in 3000 steps and Wed/Thurs 4000 steps. I think I am much better now so starting today I am back to 6000 steps a day

  1. Glad you’re feeling back to normal. My knee was bugging me last Friday.

    It was a bad week for me. I was just a lazy bum and let myself talk myself out of walking all this week. Go on, throw the tomatoes at me. I plan to get on the dreadmill after dinner tonight. Then starting Monday, it’s back to walking every day. (I walk the kids to school Mon-Fri.)

  2. I hope you feel better! Looks like you are still getting in a work out though. I have been doing really well with my workouts. I haven’t posted an update yet but I plan to by the end of the month!

  3. Back pain is the worst. You need to take it easy, you don’t want to injure yourself.
    I only did exercise yesterday and today even my hair hurts! But I like this kind of soreness, it means I did it! 🙂

  4. Back pain is the WORST! I slacked-off this week too, but my excuse isn’t nearly as good as yours. It was my bday on Wednesday, so I’ve been eating cake & drinking beer instead. FAIL!

  5. Hope your back is feeling better! I hate being sidelined, but you did the right thing by scaling back…hopefully you will be back to your normal activities soon!
