Book Blog Walkers: Commit to Exercise for June 2014

Hey Book Blog Walkers! It is time to make a commitment for June 2014. Whether you are just joining us, need to get back on the wagon, or just going to keep up your progress for Jan, now is the time to stand up and say “I’m in! I’m committed to getting up and getting moving!”Β  Remember that at the end of June I will be drawing one person from every one participating for a book of your choice up to $10 from either Amazon or Book Depository.   1. So excited to get started. Walking is measured in a combo of steps and miles on my Noom pedometer and Runkeeper. So far this month I have walked 9 miles for exercise and 33,812 this week.

  2. Oh!! I just found this! I’ve been walking since February and I am loving it. I’m averaging about 12,000 steps a day right now (Fitbit). If anyone wants to be friends on Fitbit, I’m here: fitbit.com/user/2GY6NW

  3. My fitbit has been tracking, I just haven’t been very good about doing much more. I do see more riding in my future. Have to ride the horse while the weather is good.

  4. I’m in again. May wasn’t a great month for me but I like the motivation and support from the group and I think it’d be awesome to say I committed to exercise for 6 months πŸ™‚

    Anyhow, Congrats B!!

    I’m back in for June and have up’d my goal to a minimum of 30 minutes 5 days per week, with no more than one day off! Look at me go! πŸ™‚

    I didn’t do as well as I had hoped in May. And to be quite honest, I’m afraid of how I’ll do in June. With the rising temps, I haven’t been walking the kids to school. (It’s already in the 70s at 7 am.) Which means I’ll have to get on the dreadmill. Blah. But I’m going to sign up again for June.

  8. I’m most definitely in! And this month I’m taking a new approach and counting steps! I have my fitbit on – just arrived today, just in time for me to start the month on the right foot! Thanks so much for doing this all year, it’s really helping me stay active πŸ™‚

  9. I am in for June, have already completed by June 1st walk and I’m now sitting by the fire in the evening, knowing June has begun well!
