From Goodreads: Half-vampire Cat Crawfield is now Special Agent Cat Crawfield, working for the government to rid the world of the rogue undead. She’s still using everything Bones, her sexy and dangerous ex, taught her, but when Cat is targeted for assassination, the only man who can help her is the vampire she left behind.
Being around him awakens all her emotions, from the adrenaline kick of slaying vamps side by side to the reckless passion that consumed them. But a price on her head—wanted: dead or half-alive—means her survival depends on teaming up with Bones. And no matter how hard she tries to keep things professional between them, she’ll find that desire lasts forever . . . and that Bones won’t let her get away again.

What I Loved: Bones! I am also starting to warm up to Cat 🙂 This was even better than the first book. I laughed more, blushed more, and rooted through the fights more. This story was good from beginning to end and not a part of it disappointed. Bones was even more Bones and yes this was the book with the infamous Chapter 32 (I think I blushed while reading). My favorite part of the book was the wedding that happened near the beginning–I will leave at that because I don’t want to give anything away. Fav character of this book: Rodney the Ghoul because well he really stepped up!
What I Liked: The Team! Juan was hilarious. Cooper came around brilliantly. Dave was just awesome, especially how adaptable he was (just read the end to know what I mean). Tate, I think is a good foil to Bones because he is really a good guy. Heck, even Don grew on me. My boy Spade wasn’t in the book long enough but that is ok, his part was really good 🙂
Why I gave it a 4: Actually more like a 4.5 but since I do a whole number scale I went with 4. This was even better than the first book and a thoroughly enjoyable read!
Who I would recommend it too: PNR readers (though I think I am the last to read it) and also UF readers because it is edgier than the typical PNR.
