From Goodreads: For centuries Mira has been a nightwalker—an unstoppable enforcer for a mysterious organization that manipulates earth-shaking events from the darkest shadows. But elemental mastery over fire sets her apart from others of her night-prowling breed . . . and may be all that prevents her doom.
The foe she now faces is human: the vampire hunter called Danaus, who has already destroyed so many undead. For Mira, the time has come to hunt . . . or be hunted.

What I Loved: The story was unique: Nightwalker than can harness fire having to team up with a Nightwalker Hunter. Then you add a 3rd element of something bigger and badder than either knows for sure how to get rid of permanently and it makes for a pretty kick butt ride.
What I Liked: The different locations really added a beautiful element to this story. Each one seemed to “fit” the Nightwalker that was introduced and I really enjoyed that.
Complaints: To much description at times. I kind of got lost in it at the beginning of the book but the 2nd half really took off.
Why I gave it a 3: The book was a little uneven for me. The beginning was slow and weighed down by to much description but the 2nd half really rocked! It was a good read overall!
Who I would recommend it too: UF readers! This is a very much an urban fantasy novel in every way: strong woman lead, not much romance, lots of kick butt action.
