From Goodreads:
Some things won’t stay buried . . . at grave’s end
It should be the best time of half-vampire Cat Crawfield’s life. With her undead lover Bones at her side, she’s successfully protected mortals from the rogue undead. But though Cat’s worn disguise after disguise to keep her true identity a secret from the brazen bloodsuckers, her cover’s finally been blown, placing her in terrible danger.
As if that wasn’t enough, a woman from Bones’s past is determined to bury him once and for all. Caught in the crosshairs of a vengeful vamp, yet determined to help Bones stop a lethal magic from being unleashed, Cat’s about to learn the true meaning of bad blood. And the tricks she’s learned as a special agent won’t help her. She will need to fully embrace her vampire instincts in order to save herself—and Bones—from a fate worse than the grave.

Publisher: Avon
Purchased: Bought on Amazon

What I Loved: The epic love story going on between Cat and Bones.  I actually after this book felt that her love for him was as intense as his love for her.  The last time I read a consistent epic love story was Jaime and Claire in Outlander.  This rivals their story (which is really high praise because I love Outlander)!

What I Liked:  Juan—there just needs to be more Juan.  That boy can make me giggle even in the most dire of situations.  I truly hope nothing ever happens to him.  Tate is also proving to be a very complex but loyal character that I really do hope finds his own True Love!  The cast of side characters that I think probably make the book more than Cat and Bones: Her mom, his grandsire, Spade, Ian, Don, Denise, and several others (too many to name).  Jeaniene has written such a fantastic world with fantastic characters it is hard not to love them all.

Complaints: None really, this was a well rounded book!

Why I gave it a 3:  (Actually 3.5) I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the first two in the series but still really enjoyed it.  I would tell anyone to read it because it is well worth the time!

Who I would recommend it too: PNR readers (though I think I am the last to read it) and also UF readers because it is edgier than the typical PNR.
