This weekend is Bloggy Bootcamp!
This is an event I signed up for because I am extremely interested in learning more about the actual business of blogging (content, reach, ect). I am also interested in connecting to and learning from those outside the book blogging world. This is an effort to see if there are things from other blogging realms that would be useful in our world. I know that there are things are specific to everyone’s industries but there are some things that are universal. I know tons of really great book bloggers that I learn from every day by reading their posts, looking at their blogs, and following the news. I know very few bloggers from the other areas and admit to being curious about how things in their “blogging neighborhoods” work. I am hoping to learn from them about how to expand readership to people outside their normal reach and how they began to do that. Needless to say I am super excited and hoping to come back with tons of great information.
About Bloggy Bootcamp (most of this information is taken directly from their site):

Doesn’t this just sound like an amazing event! They are going to have 2 more this year: Las Vegas and Chicago! I will be doing a full recap next week and you will probably see many tweets from me during the conference. This should be fun and who knows I may learn a thing or twenty!
