OMG Y’all RT 2015 is NEXT WEEK! To say that I am both looking forward to it (seeing old friends and meeting new ones) and dreading it (the schedule is nothing short than overwhelming for this mostly introverted gal) is slightly an understatement. I finally made myself look at the schedule and mark down “tentative” stuff that I would like to do. I say tentative because I am sure that I will end up skipping some of the panels πŸ™‚

  1. This sounds absolutely fabulous! I wish I was going but at the same time…. OVERWHELMING!!!! I got to tell ya, for an “introvert”, you sure do get out to the conventions!!!! I’m nervous for my first one in less than a month (RAGT), and I’m pretty outgoing. YOU GO GIRL!!!! Have fun!!

    psssst. font lovin’!!!!!!! πŸ˜‰

  2. I’m exhausted just by reading the itinerary! πŸ™‚ Oh the Cherry Adair vs Heather Graham Showdown is so fun. They did it at RomCon and they were hilarious! πŸ™‚ Wish I was going! Have fun!

  3. You are going to have a fabulous time and I am sure you will have fun meeting terrific bloggers and authors. Can’t wait for the run down when you get back.

  4. OMG! You’re way ahead of me! I have planned nothing , except for plane and hotel reservations. I don’t know why I do this all the time. I know I want to go the goodie’s room, and maybe some panels. They always give you so many books the beginning of each panel and events. I know you have to plan to be there early and be one of the first on the line. There’s a lot waiting in line. I have to take at the guide and start planning.
Can’t wait to meet you! See you soon πŸ™‚

  5. I only got to one pub event last year and it was really overwhelming. I couldn’t figure out why they were handing out cupcakes and drinks and still expect people to carry all those books! The lines were out of this world, I’m hoping to be an early bird to those events this year!

  6. THIS SOUNDS AWESOME FELICIA!!!! And of course exhausting, but mostly awesome. Hot Guy Bingo? Ummmmm why am I not attending RT this year? I hope to get there one year, it just always seems to be right at the same time as BEA and I can’t afford to do both. One of these years I’ll switch it up though!

    Have the best time:)

    • I am going to get to BEA some year. I really want to go but next year is out for me (all conventions are out past July till October next year) because of budget unless they are local.

      It should be FUN!

  7. To max out your free book option hit all the publisher events like Kensignton’s Sweet Heat and Avon. You’ll get your registration money back in the books. LOL RT 2013 I came home with 3 HUGE bags of books and one was all YA for my friend that’s a middle school librarian.

Oh and don’t forget your trip to the goodie room. I think you get 2 or 3 books. I didn’t want any they had in 2013 but I grabbed 3 YA for my friend. I totally picked them based on the pretty covers. LOL

    • I have a feeling that I will skip a lot of panels and mostly hit up the publisher events. I totally forgot about the goodie room.

I am hoping to grab books to give to a YA friend of mine and to pass out at book club πŸ™‚

Going to miss you like crazy! Melanie and I are going to be like the blind leading the blind.
