Felicia is just your average gal from Texas that loves Audiobooks and Libraries with a passion! She can wine them, dine them, and love them forever. Her eclectic reading tastes include: Cozy Mysteries, Thrillers, Swoon-Worthy Romance of all kinds, Zombies, Urban Fantasy, Historical Fiction, and the occasional YA read.

During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Tonks a beautiful Lab/Pyr mix (Farm Rescue), Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), and Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.

Okay, this is so cool! I love seeing these other hobbies of yours! I admit that I tried WoW for the trial month and loved it, but it sucked so much of my time that I felt it would take over my life if I kept going with it. :) Plus, I wasn’t quite sure how to interact with people and it seemed like some players were just out to kill me as fast as they could. Bullies!

I love WOW but I am lucky that I already knew people who played because you are right—people can be mean in that game! I don’t do the socialize part–I pretty much just run around on my own. Though right now I am more of a Diablo person LOL

Love this post! Pictures truly are worth a thousand words. Very cool that you do the 5ks. I’ve run a couple but want to do more. And, of course, I love the puppy pictures.

Flea the Gamer? How did I not know this? Gawd, your are made of awesome. I hope you know that!

And, seriously, let’s meet up to do the Capital 5K next year! Austin…half way point?! See you there.

P.S. Hope you have fun at the signing tonight. Wish I could be there. Squee all over Kevin for me.

I love all the pictures. You do so many cool things. As soon as I post this I’m going to explore the rest of your blog. I’m glad you participated in AC BEA!!

    Your furry children are adorable.

I used to game. I played WoW for years, and quit just before the last expansion. I miss it sometimes, but I just read some of the WoW books. I don’t have enough time anymore to play and read and work :/

I love it that you are a gamer chick…..:D And you crochet, that is awesome! Outside of books and reading Im a huge foodie person, I love to cook and bake and Im a diet coke drinker….I guess its time to find some physical hobby’s too….:D

  7. Jessica

I love to crochet! I’ve been working on a blanket for six years. It’s the very first thing I started when I taught myself how to crochet. That’s the trouble when you teach yourself. You have no one there to tell you that an afghan from nothing by single crochet stitches is a bad idea because it’ll take FOREVER. I’m almost done, though. I’ve got 3-5 inches left.

I’m also owned by furry people and love to experiment in the kitchen. I knew there was a reason why I followed your blog. :) Thanks for stopping by Tales Between the Pages.

Oh, and wine. Love wine. How could I have forgotten this??

Okay, so in “reading” this post I’m trying to figure out how I had’t found your blog before Armchair BEA! Because, clearly, we need to be friends!

What conventions do you usually go to? I hit up Dragon Con every year and am thinking of hosting a blogger meet up one day during the weekend. It’d be great to have more geek girls join in!

    Nice to meet you :-)

I just realized this morning that I haven’t seen your blog in forever – it wasn’t coming up in my reader! *pouts* LOVE the new look. It’s lovely!! And thanks for sharing more about yourself. I look forward to hanging out again some day!!
