What a wonderful Wednesday night I had at the Sherilyn Kenyon and Diana Love book signing. There were questions answered (Time Travel-hmmm), questions not answered (I cannot either confirm nor deny), prizes given (whoo hooo t-shirt is mine–BOOYA), and lots of book talk amongst friends! In other words, every readers dream night!

I have said this before and I will say it again: I am so lucky to live in the same city as the wonderful gals from Fresh Fiction! This is just one of the wonderful events they helped to put on. Two other big ones coming up this year: Boas and Tiaras where you can have a conversation with Nalini Singh and featured authors Rachel Gibson, Julia Quinn, Vicki Lewis Thompson, Dianna Love, Vicki Pettersson, and Candace Havens, Plus: Dakota Cassidy, Michele Bardsley, Jaye Wells, Lorraine Heath, Nikki Duncan, Rachel Caine, Lori Wilde, and Farrah Rochon. Then the big one: Readers N Ritas with Kerrilyn Sparks, Roxanne St. Claire, Gena Showalter, C.L. Wilson, Lori Wilde, Ann Aguirre, Nikki Duncan, Jade Lee, Marianne Mancusi, Jane Porter, Tara Taylor Quinn, Jaye Wells, Lauren Willig, Michele Bardsley, Dakota Cassidy, Julia Justiss, Alyssa Day, Monica Burns, Louisa Edwards, Vicki Pettersson, Kristen Painter, and Jill Monroe. The Mistress of Ceremonies is Candace Havens so you know it will be a blast! So see, when I say LUCKY—I mean LUCKY!
What can I say about Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love that hasn’t been said before? Probably not a darn a thing! They are both sweet, funny, very down to earth, and just a riot to be around. That being said there was the most adorable 2 year old that kind of stole the show! She even won a prize–a bitten by Fang keyring 🙂
Things to note:
At some point Sherilyn will be posting the spoiler she gave us on book 3 in the Nick series. I am actually not going to post it because it is her spoiler. It was a good one though.
Telling a story about her son, to cute!
I love that her characters are all in her head all the time. They evidently push and shove to get to the front of the line. How come I can now clearly see a cage match between some of the alphas while the gals are like “you do know this is all about me, right?”
Dianna does not want her to tell the “gross” story
She has the greatest fans! Everyone I talked to tonight was amazingly giving, fun, and very knowledgeable about all things Kenyon.
Dianna and Sherilyn answering questions
Dianna has one heck of a throwing arm! Trust me, I was a t-shirt winner.
Overall this was a great night and tons of fun! Thank you to Barnes and Noble in Frisco, TX for hosting the event in your store.
What is it with me and closing my eyes during pictures LOL
During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.
