Looking for a tattoo—and maybe a little something extra: a burst of good luck, a dollop of true love, or even a hex on an ex? Head to the quiet and mysterious Gage, the best skin artist in town. Using unique potions—a blend of extraordinary ingredients and special inks—to etch the right symbol, he can fulfill any heart's desire. But in a place like Low Town, where elves, faeries, trolls, werewolves, and vampires happily walk among humanity, everything has its price.
No one knows that better than Gage. Turning his back on his own kind, he left the magical Ivory Tower where cruel witches and warlocks rule, a decision that cost him the right to practice magic. And if he disobeys, his punishment—execution—will be swift.
Though he's tried to fly under the radar, Gage can't hide from powerful warlocks who want him dead—or the secrets of his own past. But with the help of his friends, Trixie, a gorgeous elf who hides her true identity, and a hulking troll named Bronx, Gage might just make it through this enchanted world alive.

First thought when finished: Angel’s Ink is my kind of Urban Fantasy: a little love, a little humor, and a whole lot of kick ass!
What I thought of the story: Angel’s Ink was a fast paced story full of heart. I loved watching Gage get out of all his predicaments with his friends by him at every turn. He did have a penchant for trouble but I think that the part I loved most was that it all came from him being a loyal and good person!
What I thought of the characters: Bronx, Trixie, Sophie, and Gage are all fantastic! My favorite character was Bronx, I am always a sucker for the loyal and brave sidekick. I also really can’t wait to learn more about Gideon and personally I hope he is in the series more in the 2nd book.
Final thought: Angel’s Ink was a fantastic beginning to a series that I hope continues for a long time!

Awesome. Awesome title. It is going on my GR list.
I haven’t heard of this one but I like the sound of it. I’m still not as comfortable with Urban fantasy as other genres but I love exploring so I’ll keep it in mind.
Another one added to my list! Sounds like it’s definitely my kind of UF — love the kick-assery and the humor and all that loveliness.
It has all of that plus it is told in the Male POV! Very unusual but totally works 🙂
I’ve been wanting to read this and now that I know you loved it, I want to read it so much more!!! Gimmie!! 😀
You would love it! You can’t have the troll—I know you like to steal my men 🙂
Oh it was UF. I love UF 😀 Could be my thing
I think you would enjoy this one. It was a pretty strong start for a series 🙂
Sounds like interesting world building and characters. I like the concept of tattoo ink with magical qualities blended in. Cool!
I am kind of addicted to things with a Tattoo Parlor right now LOL
Ummmmmm yes please. This sounds so good! I really enjoyed Jocelynn Drakes series about the firestarter (the title escapes me), and I was completely unaware she had a new series coming out. A little love, a little humor and a whole lot of kickass? GET ON MY KINDLE ANGEL’S INK!
It would fill your inbetween YA books thing—perfectly 🙂
Ooooh. This sounds really good, Felicia! 🙂
It was a really fun read 🙂 Plus male POV, it was different and kick ass.
O.o you described my idea of a perfect urban fantasy! The characters sound great and I love a little romance, humor and a whole lotta kick-ass!
The 3 main characters are great! I like that they are such good friends 🙂 A warlock, troll, and fairy–who would have guessed 🙂
