Forbidden fruit is always the sweetest…

…and no one knows that better than Sammy Divine, High Prince of Darkness. Once an angel, now cast down, Sammy’s out to prove he’s not the only angel who can be led into temptation…

Hope Henderson’s sister has disappeared without a trace, and Hope will do anything to find her–even make a deal with the Devil. An ancient text holds the key to unspeakable power, and it’s the Archangel Gabriel’s job to make sure it stays hidden, even if he has to become human to do it. Lives, love and the fate of the world hang in the balance, as Hope and Gabriel learn that when passion’s involved, it may be impossible to withstand a devil named desire.

First Thought When Finished: I *heart* Sammy! (Somehow it feels a little wrong to say that LOL)

What I Loved: To be honest, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about Gabe. I love Gabe and Sammy’s brotherly banter but I wasn’t sure I could see him as a love interest. Boy was I wrong! I loved Gabe as a leading man. I thought he was just yummy to the extreme (breaking out my 80s lingo). He just radiated the “fall in love with me” vibe that I love in my leading men. His journey from angel to man in love was an interesting twist in this world. I also loved Sammy’s side story. It is fun seeing Sammy as a dad and his son is just the perfect one to bring out Sammy’s soft side.

What I Liked: Though I didn’t love Hope, I did like how clearly loyal she was to her sister, Charity (who I can’t wait to learn more about). I liked that Hope was willing to do almost anything to get Charity back and keep her safe. Hope had so many spot-on reactions to her circumstances that at times I felt like she deserved a break. I think the chemistry between her and Gabe was a little rushed but by the end I was really liking them as a couple.

What made me go huh?: I felt the love story was a little rushed but by the end I was rooting for Gabe and Hope.

Final Thought: Great edition to the series!

Aaah! I'm gone for not even a week and you get a facelift! Lol. I love the look though, even if it shocked me when I first clicked out of my Google Reader!

P.S. Voted for you for IBBA. Here's hoping you get to go! 🙂

       Awww thank you 🙂

You didn't miss much—I was down for a week while I moved to WordPress 🙂  It was a lot of fun 🙂

OMG! Love the blog look!! Wanna do mine? 😀 *flutters eyelashes*

I agree about this book. I loved it… Sammy and Gabe! The romance did feel rushed but it still worked in the end.

       It wasn't as bad as I thought….

There is some little things that need to be done to make it fully functional (as of yet) but it wasn't that bad.  I wish I would have done it years ago though LOL

OMGosh, Felicia!!! You're blog is SOOOO cute! I absolutely LOVE it!! I really need to just switch to WordPress. Every time I see a new blog it's all I can think of. It's just so amazing!

Yeah, I think I may like this book for the sheer fact that it's PNR and I kinda expect the rushed relationship. I do hate when they do it, though. I don't believe in the whole love at first sight thing, so that's usually when it gets under my skin. But the cover *pets cover* it's so pretty!!

ps. I'm so glad you're blog is back up! *huggles*

It wasn't so much insta love but it was nothing, nothing, and then BAM!  Though it also made me love the book because they took time with their individual stories 🙂  Plus I love me some Sammy and he was in this one quite a bit!

      *huggles*

It is so nice to be back 🙂

LOL Yep there was no easy way to get everything to direct over 🙁  I am thinking of starting a phone tree for the next person that moves platforms!  Then we all just call each other LOL

As if the cover wasn't enough to convince me that I must read this book! Brotherly banter is the best!

P.S. Turns out that I am still getting e-mails from the old feed, so I'm gonna unsubscribe from the new one because that one sends me an e-mail every time there is a new post and the old one just sends me one email with all the posts included. 🙂

AWESOME!  I did switch over my feedburner so I was HOPING that picked up 🙂

Oh and the brother banter is awesome.  What Gabe does for Sammy in the end will just warm your little heart!

I think I would really like this series, I'll have to add it to the ever-growing list. I mean just look at that cover! He wants me to pet him. Wait. No. Read him. He wants me to read him:) Obviously. Love when I'm not sure about a hero initially and he turns out to be amazing!
