Why I Liked Karen’s Narration:
Karen has a way of bringing contemporary characters alive. She is good at learning their quirks and bringing that out during the reading. If you haven’t tried her, you really should!

Felicia is just your average gal from Texas that loves Audiobooks and Libraries with a passion! She can wine them, dine them, and love them forever. Her eclectic reading tastes include: Cozy Mysteries, Thrillers, Swoon-Worthy Romance of all kinds, Zombies, Urban Fantasy, Historical Fiction, and the occasional YA read.
During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.

I can’t believe I still haven’t managed to listen to Karen. I missed the Apa thing last night too, fell asleep exhausted. Are the Jill Shalvis books on your audible?
Some of them are—the newest series is 🙂
I’ve only listened to her with Jill’s Animal Magnetism series, but I totally enjoyed her performance. I’d totally pick up another series based on Karen being the narrator. Woot!
You would like this new series narrated by her. It has a lot of the same elements as Animal Magnetism.
I’ve been reading that series on my Kindle, so no audio this time. 🙂
Awww! She did a great job with Mistletoe book—it cracked me up with the wedding and Karen just brought that right to life. I read Archer and Elle though so I don’t know if I will get that one on audio.
I feel like I know KWhite so much because of you…
LOL I do talk about her a lot but she is in my 5 top narrators 🙂
I never hesitate picking up an audiobook when Karen White is the narrator. She always does a great job with Jill Shavis’ books.
She also has done a few women’s fiction books that I have loved (years past)–I really think she embodies contemporary women so well.
Karen has been able to get me to listen to some contemporaries I might not have before. 🙂
She has one of those voices that just draws you in. I am so glad you spotlighted her today 🙂
Well I have listened or plan to listen to all the ones you have. I have them. I love everything Jill Shalvis and it will be my first try of Rebecca Zanetti. Anne
NC? I live in NC!
I think you will like Zanetti–she is mostly romantic suspense but there is a slight “fringe” element to it 🙂 I really enjoy them!
This reminds me that I get to try 2 audio books on Amazon. I never used to like/be able to do audio but it’s changed so much from lugging all the CD’s around. I need to give it another try.
Oh girl the whole on your phone thing is so much easier LOL 🙂 I still get CDs from publishers and they take so long for me to rip to my phone LOL
