30DaysOfThanks
Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back #30DaysOfThanks for Year 4 aka #30DaysOfThanks2015. I had so much fun doing this last 3 years that I thought I would recycle the program again this year. Switching it up this year with 3 posts a day–1 author, 1 narrator, and 1 blogger that really touched me this year. I didn’t have room to thank everyone because really my life overfloweth with awesome bloggers, books, and listening enjoyment. I tried to fit in some new people who have come into my life/reading enjoyment the last year while still shouting out my tribe of many years. I am so glad that I didn’t have room because it means my life ROCKS!

Xe Sands

Xe Sands was one of the first narrators that I followed on twitter. I found her through Juliet Blackwell’s Wishcraft series. I just loved how she brought to life the eclectic characters in the story. Then I continued following her because of her #GoingPublic project.  She takes books in the public domain and records them just for the pure enjoyment of it. I love when I find out narrators really are readers. There is just something extra those narrators bring to the table: a pure enjoyment of the written word.  My favorite from the #GoingPublic offerings is her reading Edger Allan Poe. I admit I relisten to Tell Tale Heart around Halloween every year. She really is just a great narrator and wonderful member of the audiobook community.

  1. I’ve heard great things about this narrator, but have yet to try her. I did see she narrates Kelly Meade’s Cornerstone Trilogy. I thought about revisiting that series on audio since she is narrating. I’m also going to check out her narration of Edgar Allan Poe. I’m a huge Poe fan and need to get back to him more.

    • Try her Edgar Allen Poe it is on SoundCloud. Seriously it give you an idea how well she can pull off different things. I will have to check out the Cornerston Trilogy 🙂
