Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back #30DaysOfThanks for Year 4 aka #30DaysOfThanks2015. I had so much fun doing this last 3 years that I thought I would recycle the program again this year. Switching it up this year with 3 posts a day–1 author, 1 narrator, and 1 blogger that really touched me this year. I didn’t have room to thank everyone because really my life overfloweth with awesome bloggers, books, and listening enjoyment. I tried to fit in some new people who have come into my life/reading enjoyment the last year while still shouting out my tribe of many years. I am so glad that I didn’t have room because it means my life ROCKS!
Addison is a pretty special author to me because of the friendships she writes in her romance books. I love when an author can write strong women friendships that make you want to join their tribe. Addison is also a member of Cover Girls book club so I know she is a huge reader too. I think her real love for the romance genre shines through in everything she writes. Don’t you love it when authors write what they love? I think it comes through with every word, couple, and story that they tell. She also happened to have written one of my all-time favorite series: Alaskan Nights . Now I admit I am partial to almost anything set in Alaska (I fell in love with the place after visiting) but this series also had great friends, romance, and LOL moments. It really had all the ingredients to make me fall in love. Granted it is lacking an audiobook version but alas maybe one day! Really y’all should check out her books, I think you would like them! Plus she is part of the Ruby Slippered Sisterhood with a bunch of my favorite authors–so you have to check her out!
About Addison Fox (from her website)
Addison Fox can’t remember a time when words weren’t part of her life. An avid reader, her love of the written word started at the tender age of one with The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear (a poem she could recite by heart to any family member who would listen.) Dr. Seuss, C.S. Lewis, Judy Blume and a host of others quickly followed until she discovered THE CLAN OF THE CAVE BEAR by Jean M. Auel while writing a paper at the library in the seventh grade. Although not a classic romance, Ayla and Jondalar’s love story moved her firmly into the romance section and she hasn’t looked back!
Addison writes paranormal and contemporary romance for NAL, category-length romantic suspense for Harlequin Romantic Suspense and category-length contemporary romance for Entangled Indulgence.
Addison lives in Dallas. She loves to get email from readers.
