Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back #30DaysOfThanks for Year 4 aka #30DaysOfThanks2015. I had so much fun doing this last 3 years that I thought I would recycle the program again this year. Switching it up this year with 3 posts a day–1 author, 1 narrator, and 1 blogger that really touched me this year. I didn’t have room to thank everyone because really my life overfloweth with awesome bloggers, books, and listening enjoyment. I tried to fit in some new people who have come into my life/reading enjoyment the last year while still shouting out my tribe of many years. I am so glad that I didn’t have room because it means my life ROCKS!
Avery is one of those authors that you can tell writes fun, sexy stuff because she totally exudes that in person. She can totally out man-candy almost anyone (I am totally not taking sides in a 3 way she has going with her friends) and can make you laugh daily. She has adorable puppies, great stories, and since she finally gave me Carlos I will quite pestering her about it. (For the RECORD: I am totally ignoring he ended up with a chick with a different name–the important thing is that she is a GEEK so she is me –never mind I can’t sew). I have met Avery several times and each time I got a little bit more of a girl crush on her. I am going to recommend a total off the wall reading choice if you have never read her, she writes awesome contemporary and romantic suspense, but if you like sexy fairy tales go with Jax and The Beanstalk/Big Bad Red (both interracial romances which make me love them more). So check her out if you haven’t! You will have fun!
About Avery (from Facebook)
Smartass. Chocaholic. Writer of romance with smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they are with their *ahem* other God-given talents.
Avery Flynn has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip.
She fell in love with romance while reading Johanna Lindsey’s Mallory books. It wasn’t long before Avery had read through all the romance offerings at her local library. Needing a romance fix, she turned to Harlequin’s four books a month home delivery service to ease the withdrawal symptoms. That worked for a short time, but it wasn’t long before the local book stores’ staffs knew her by name.
Avery was a reader before she was a writer and hopes to always be both. She loves to write about smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they are with their *ahem* other God-given talents. Her heroines are feisty, fierce and fantastic. Brainy and brave, these ladies know how to stand on their own two feet and knock the bad guys off theirs.
Find out more about Avery on her website, follow her on Twitter and Pinterest, like her on her Facebook page or friend her on her Facebook profile. She’s also on Goodreads and BookLikes.
Join her street team, The Flynnbots, and receive special sneak peeks, prizes and early access to her latest releases!
Also, if you figure out how to send Oreos through the Internet, she’ll be your best friend for life.
Contact her at avery @ averyflynn . com . She’d love to hear from you!
Killer Style (Carlos is mine)
During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.
