Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back #30DaysOfThanks for Year 4 aka #30DaysOfThanks2015. I had so much fun doing this last 3 years that I thought I would recycle the program again this year. Switching it up this year with 3 posts a day–1 author, 1 narrator, and 1 blogger that really touched me this year. I didn’t have room to thank everyone because really my life overfloweth with awesome bloggers, books, and listening enjoyment. I tried to fit in some new people who have come into my life/reading enjoyment the last year while still shouting out my tribe of many years. I am so glad that I didn’t have room because it means my life ROCKS!
Kristilyn from A Little Time to Read
Kristilyn is one of my favorite people. She has 2 adorable kiddos and a houseful of fluffy goodness too. You guys may remember her from Reading in Winter but I love her new blog just as much. She does all sorts of things on it and really you get to know her a little better. She is one of my oldest blogging friends. We have helped and supported each other through changes, ups and downs, and just all the things life does to a person. She really is just a wonderful person!
Thank you for visiting A Little Time To Read! My name is Kristilyn and I used to blog over at Reading In Winter. As much as I loved that blog, I felt it was time for a change, a break, and a rebirth.
Why a change? Because sometimes you just need to break away from the thing you feel is dragging you down. I love blogging and I especially love blogging about the books I’m reading, but the blog was like a weight, an obligation, and seeing as I had a brand new toddler and was expecting my second child, I didn’t need any extra weight.
This year has been devoted to taking a break, slowing down when it comes to reading, reading with my family, doing things other than reading (yes! these things exist!), and just enjoying life. It’s been wonderful.
But something was missing.
This blog isn’t going to be like my last. Maybe you’ll see me every day. Maybe you’ll see me once a week. Or maybe you’ll see me once a month. This is all about me taking the little time I have to read and sharing it with the bookish community I’m so fond of.
Read hard, lovelies.
