Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back #30DaysOfThanks for Year 3 aka #30DaysOfThanks2014. I had so much fun doing this last 2 years that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.
Book: Then Came You by Jill Shalvis
You can read my Review here (this was another 5 for me)
Veterinary intern Emily can’t believe she wound up in the small town of Sunshine, Idaho, instead of the Los Angeles clinic she had always imagined. Now she has to put her plans to move to L.A. on hold for a whole year while she fulfills the obligation of her vet school scholarship.
Then Wyatt, her gorgeous one-night stand from a Reno vet conference, introduces himself as her new boss. And Emily is just as drawn to his seductive looks and quiet strength as she was on that very steamy night. She soon learns that Wyatt isn’t just a laid-back doctor, but a delicious alpha male tempting her away from her carefully laid-out plans…
Blogger: The Book Nympho
What can I say: Jennifer is one of my favorite people! She truly makes me smile every damn day even when I don’t want too. We share a love of the library, audiobooks, and reading by the firepit with a glass of whatever floats our boat. She is a great friend, awesome blogging neighbor, and all around damn good person! Click on her button to show her some love!

Narrator: Karen White
Books I have listened to by her (a few of them):
- Animal Magnetism Series by Jill Shalvis
- Forgotten Sins by Rebecca Zanetti (the next one I just purchased)
- Booktown Mysteries by Lorna Barrett
Books on my wishlist narrated by her:
- Leopard Series by Christine Feehan
- Liar, Temptress, Soldier, Spy by Karen Abbott
- Cover Your Eyes by Mary Burton

This year Fantasy is More Fun & Because Reading are doing a Month of Giving Thanks giving you a chance to participate. You should take them up on the opportunity!
NOTE: This year I switched it up a bit for the first 12 days: I will highlight one book from 2014 that really stuck with me (each book scored a 4.75 or 5 from me), one narrator that landed on my must listen list, and one blogger that I am thankful for! For days 13 to 30 I will highlight either 2 bloggers and 1 narrator OR 2 narrators and 1 blogger. These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love. In fact this year in both the narrator and blogger categories I had way over 30 (Yet with books I only had 12 “new to me this year” reads that ranked above a 4.75). Narrowing narrators/bloggers down broke my heart so I am changing the format a bit! Hopefully, I can squeeze in everyone I want too!

I am thankful to be included in this post and thankful to be narrating the Animal Magnetism series AND thankful for you and Jen and the way y’all spread the word about audiobooks. Just a warning about COVER YOUR EYES – its a great suspenseful mystery but the romance is only a wee part of it. I loved both the male and female lead characters and the Nashville setting was fun.
I read a lot of mystery/suspense (I am actually going to Bouchercon next week–I can’t wait) so it is high on my Christmas list 🙂 🙂 Mary Burton is one of my favorite authors so I was excited that you were narrating for her! 🙂
We love all the work that you put into making each of your narrations unique to the story. Thank you!
Jen is wonderful she is always in good spirits, and her passion for audio books is contagious. Then Came You looks like one I would enjoy
Oh you would love the whole Animal Magnetism series. It is funny, smexy, and then there is Military guys who love animals *SWOON HARD*
I started with Then Came You, read it through Netgalley then started from the beginning with the audiobooks. Karen is perfect for this series.
And all the smutty goods I read/listen to help with the good mood. LOL
Love, love, love Jennifer! She’s one of the reasons I am becoming an audiobook addict. I love bouncing probable and unlikely book theories off her, as well.
I am so glad you are joining us on the crazy train of audio. It really does up how much reading you can get in during the year. You can fit audiobooks in where you can’t read 🙂
It makes me happy that you are loving audiobooks!! I can’t wait to see ya in June. And keep the texts coming. :p
Oh yeah. Glad you love the narrator I just got the audio of Traitor Spy and I am looking forward to it. I need to make some good solid new bloggy friends so I will head over to Book Nympho.
That is on my wishlist! My library is going to get the audio cause I asked! I love Karen she has such a great voice for audiobooks!
I really need to get into the Shavis books. I am going to do them on audio if I can. I do like Jennifer’s blog and I really love that button!
Oh especially this series: Military guys who love animals. Can you say Swoon Hard!!!!!!!!! 🙂
I love the button she has 😀
She has the best graphics 🙂
Lauren from Hey Hey Designs does all my graphics. She’s great.
I read fourth book in the Animal Magnetism series and liked it. I just need to find the time to catch up with the other books in this series.
I couldn’t agree more with you about Jennifer. She’s also one of my favorite bloggers. I had the pleasure of meeting her a while back in AADNOLA and she is a sweetheart.
Jennifer is super rock start sauce. I can’t wait to meet her at RT next year. There will be fun, fun, fun till the break of dawn (or until I give out around 10 pm LOL)
I miss you! It was fun hanging with you and Julie at AADNOLA. I hope we get to see each other again in the future.
Love Jennifer! She was actually the first blog I ever followed:) I still need to read Jill Shavis – I just haven’t managed to get to her yet. Karen White is an unknown narrator for me, I’ll have to look her up!
Oh I think you will love Karen and Jill–they are both fantastic (together and separately). Isn’t Jennifer just a rock star 🙂
Aww. I didn’t know I was your first blog to follow. YAY!! I can’t wait to meet you and Felicia in May!
Jill Shalvis needs to branch-out into paranormal so that I can finally add her books to my TBR pile. Both Karen White and Jennifer are worthy picks for this month-long feature. I discovered the narrator earlier this year, while as the blogger I’ve been following for a looong time. I wish I was going to RT15…
LOL you should tell her: Can you write Military men who love animals who also happen to be shifters? That would be excellent. Get right on it 🙂 🙂
I wish you were going to RT15 too. We will have to print out your picture and take it with us everywhere so that it feels like your there!
We’ll have to find a moose or beaver with a Canadian hat or sweater to carry around. LOL
Yay for audiobook lovers! =)
Yep! Yep! Yep! 🙂
Love this! It’s easy to forget how much wonderfulness is out there in the book world and this is a great reminder!
Lately there has been way to much negative. I am thrilled that it is November time cause it reminds me that there is far more positive than negative 🙂
Having over 30 is a nice problem to have!
It is a GREAT problem to have 🙂
I’m very familiar with two of your choices! I couldn’t agree more about Jennifer 🙂 And I haven’t found many narrators that can bring those alpha heroes to life better than Karen White. Now I have to see if one of this days I can finally listen to one Jill Shalvis’ books 🙂
Lupe I gave this book 5 stars too.
I added this to my wish list – I bet it’ll be good introduction 🙂
Oh it is a wonderful series and each one can be read as a stand alone. They really are ones that will just make you smile.
Thanks Flea!! I can’t wait to meet you in person at RT in May!!! We’ll have tons of glasses of “whatever” then. LOL
We are going to have SEVERAL! 🙂 I can’t wait!
Love Jennifer’s blog! She is great! I haven’t listened to anything by this narrator yet. Maybe in 2015!
Oh you should! She is excellent. Karen was one of my first “go-to” narrators!
I actually listened to my first Karen White book about a month ago. It was Forgotten Sins. It was great. And of course, I love Jennifer.
I am so glad she did a that series. I think that probably branched out her listening audience. I just bought the second one on audio. I need to squeeze it in 🙂
Great idea and thanks for the love to Jennifer! She really is special.
She is super special! So are you! I am so glad that we have become friends this year. Do not be surprised when you are on my list right next her to next year 🙂
