#30DaysOfThanks2014 Day 23: Books and Things and R.C. Bray

Posted November 23, 2014 by Felicia S in Month of Thanks / 10 Comments

Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back #30DaysOfThanks for Year 3 aka #30DaysOfThanks2014. I had so much fun doing this last 2 years that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.

Blogger: Books and Things

What can I say about Melissa: I love her! Seriously she is my sister from another mister. Our love of dogs, alpha men, and all things fun bind us together for life. I have had the priviledge of hanging out with her and hope to do so many time in the future! Go give her some love:

Narrator: R.C. Bray

New to me this year narrator but totally knocked it out of the park:

  • Xom-B by Jeremy Robinson (LOVED IT)

Some of the Books on my wishlist:

  • Die Trying by Nicholas Ryan
  • Island 731 by Jeremy Robinson
  • Cross My Heart by Abigail Storm

This year Fantasy is More Fun & Because Reading are doing a Month of Giving Thanks giving you a chance to participate. You should take them up on the opportunity!

NOTE: This year I switched it up a bit for the first 12 days: I will highlight one book from 2014 that really stuck with me (each book scored a 4.75 or 5 from me), one narrator that landed on my must listen list, and one blogger that I am thankful for! For days 13 to 30 I will highlight either 2 bloggers and 1 narrator OR 2 narrators and 1 blogger. These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love. In fact this year in both the narrator and blogger categories I had way over 30 (Yet with books I only had 12 “new to me this year” reads that ranked above a 4.75).Β  Narrowing narrators/bloggers down broke my heart so I am changing the format a bit! Hopefully, I can squeeze in everyone I want too!

  1. I do love her blog as well, and always feed the fishes! I am fascinated by that thingy. Hi Melissa! Pet your dog for me please. I love your blog headers especially.

  2. I haven’t listened to anything by R.C. Bray, thanks for sharing, now if I come across one of his book I’ll know he’s good πŸ™‚
I just recently started to visit Books and Things – It looks like I was missing out…But no more! πŸ™‚

  3. Melissa is such a sweetheart! I always make a point of visiting her blog first because I just love her reviews, plus we share a lot of common ground as far as reading preferences go. I’m with Stormi on that snippet. LMAO!

  4. That was the weirdest short listen to a narrator ever…lol. That must be one very strange book. πŸ™‚ It made me laugh though..hehe.
