Hi Yβall! It is November and I am bringing back #30DaysOfThanks for Year 3 aka #30DaysOfThanks2014. I had so much fun doing this last 2 years that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.
Today’s 2 bloggers are my geek soulsisters! Both are very well rounded geeks π
Blogger: The Reading Date
What can I say about Lucy: She is one my favorite people in the blogsphere! She is funny, smart, and a total geek. I am a little (or a lot) jealous that she gets to go to SDCC every year. When IΒ finally get to go (and I will some day), I am going to make sure we meet up for some geeky fun! Go give her some love!
Blogger: On Starships and Dragonwings
What can I say about Anya: She is a delightfully fun and makes me wish that I read just a wee bit more fantasy. I trust her to steer me right where that genre is concerned. She is also a full-fledged geek. I am usually in awe of her nail painting adventures on instagram and wonder how she gets everything done. She is a whirlwind! Go give her some love….

Narrator: Susan Bennett
Books I have listened to narrated by her:
- Midnight Crossroad: A Novel of Midnight Texas by Charlaine Harris
- Bite Me: A Love Story by Christopher Moore
Books on my wishlist:
- Mixed Messages by Linda Lael Miller
- Nothing but Trouble by Rachel Gibson
- In a Fix: In a Fix, Book 1 by Linda Grimes
Examples:
This year Fantasy is More Fun & Because Reading are doing a Month of Giving Thanks giving you a chance to participate. You should take them up on the opportunity!
NOTE: This year I switched it up a bit for the first 12 days: I will highlight one book from 2014 that really stuck with me (each book scored a 4.75 or 5 from me), one narrator that landed on my must listen list, and one blogger that I am thankful for! For days 13 to 30 I will highlight either 2 bloggers and 1 narrator OR 2 narrators and 1 blogger. These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone that I love. In fact this year in both the narrator and blogger categories I had way over 30 (Yet with books I only had 12 “new to me this year” reads that ranked above a 4.75).Β Narrowing narrators/bloggers down broke my heart so I am changing the format a bit! Hopefully, I can squeeze in everyone I want too!

During her non-reading time you can find her hanging with her rescue furr children named after book characters: Lizzie a beautiful cattle dog mix (Pound Pup), Cinder a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Pound Pup), and Minerva a beautiful Shep/Pitt mix (Foster Fail). Gathering with friends and family, attending conventions, watching movies/tv shows, rooting for the 49rs, and crocheting.

Hey thanks for the shoutout! I am definitely a card carrying geek (high five soul sister!) and would be thrilled to meet you at SDCC for some in-person geeking out.
I became acquainted with Anya’s blog this year and need to check out her nail art designs!
Susan Bennett is new to me and I really liked the audio samples. Thanks for the rec!
I don’t believe in sleep π No, that’s a complete lie, I love sleep, hmmmmm, definitely a deal with the devil then, can’t be any other answer! <3 Thanks so much hun, I love sharing the fantasy love π
What a great name for your blog! I’m totally going to stalk you now! π
Susan Bennett has a delightful voice. Lucy is new to me, so I am off to stalk her. Anya has a lovely blog. Great choices today!
Oh, finally two bloggers that aren’t on my Bloglovin feed! I keep meaning to read more Fantasy, so I’ll be sure to check-out some of Anya’s reviews, and if Lucy is one of your virtual BFFs, then I needs to know her too.
Ha! LOVE geeky goodness! π I also love their buttons. π
Looking at the books Susan Bennett narrates, I have a feeling I’ll be hearing her in the future.
YEAH FOR GEEKS! *high five* I’m going to make it SDCC one year, I am. I just need to start planning for it well in advance:) This is such a fantastic feature Felicia, sometimes I find myself with blogging blinders on and I only stick to the blogs I know, so it’s great to find new people to follow and fangirl with:)
I love Lucy and her audiobook reviews! At first I thought we didn’t have the same taste in books, but in the last year I found that we have more than I thought, so I have follow her a little closer π
My first experience with Susan Bennett was one of Christopher Moore’s book, and she’s fantastic.
I have to check On Starships and Dragonwings, I enjoy my share of Fantasy novels and it would be cool to have another place to of some more recommendations π
Thank you Felicia!
Not heard of this blog, so will go check it out. Don’t think I have had the pleasure of this narrator either.
She is also the voice of Siri π Just a little note on the side!
