Month of Thanks

Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back the Month of Thanks. I had so much fun doing this last year that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.   Each day I will highlight one book from 2013 that really stuck with me and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone (r book) that I love.

One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah MacLean

Read for Fun! (Kindle)
Overall Rating: 5.00
Story Rating: 5.00
Pippa Rating aka Character Rating: 5.00

First Thought When Finished: To say I loved this book would be an understatement. I would date,move-in, and marry this darn book in a heartbeat!

Why I Loved One Good Earl Deserves a Lover:  Pippa! Seriously one of the best women characters that I have read. She was smart y’all! Smart, logical, and brilliant.

Best Thing about Hot Listens:  It is audiobooks all the time! You know how much I love audiobooks!

Why I *heart* Hot Listens:  It is not secret that Loupe and I are friends and both huge supporters of the audiobook industry. I love when I come across blogs that are good at getting the word out about audiobooks, narrators, and in her case–they have samples. She (and her team) have the audiobook reviewing down to a science!

Why you should follow Hot Listens: They review audiobooks from all over the romance scale (YA, NA, Historical, Contemporary, Paranormal, UF). One of my go to places for audiobook reviews.

  1. I love the sounds of One Good Earl Deserves a Lover – Pippa sounds like my kind of character. Have you read book 1 or does it work as a standalone? Definitely my kind of book!

And I also love Hot Listens – I love audio books and I’m always looking for reviews that tell me about the narrator, so she’s a fav of mine too 🙂

  2. AWWW! Thank you so much! I took a power nap before I went to work, and I woke up to this! You made my week 🙂
I, also thankful for having found other peeps that share my love for audiobooks. I’m thrilled to be connected to a very nice group of peeps that love audiobooks as much as I do 🙂

    Thank you Felicia!

  4. I really want to try and incorporate more audiobooks. I think I will have more time in 2014 now that my kids are getting older and less demanding. I have this MacClean book waiting on my Kindle thanks to your review and Kimbas!

  5. Kristilyn (Reading in Winter)

I have the first book in this series and this is the second post I’ve seen today raving about Sarah MacLean! I’ll have to read it soon … it sounds like fun!

  6. I still have to read this one Felicia, though I have read some of her earlier books and really liked them.
I really, really don’t like audiobooks, but of course, all your audio review books are available in print as well, so I read them anyway 🙂

    • Pippa was the bomb diggity. I read your review (again) while I was gathering for this. I think you said it best when you listed her attributes!
