Month of Thanks

Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back the Month of Thanks. I had so much fun doing this last year that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.   Each day I will highlight one book from 2013 that really stuck with me and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone (or book) that I love.

Edge of Dawn by Lara Adrian

Read for Review (Edelweiss)
Overall Rating :4.50
Story Rating :4.50
Character Rating :4.50

First thought when finished : I will admit at the beginning I was a little scared of the time jump but in the end it is a brave new world that I love and totally embrace.

What I Loved: As a long time fan of the series I was wondering if I could get on board with all the sudden seeing the kiddos “all grown up”. I didn’t need to worry though because I was quickly sucked into the mayhem. This is the breed but with a new twist! I am totally on board and counting down to the next one 🙂

  1. I am also a diehard follower of Blodeuedd’s blog. Sometimes I wish I could write such short reviews, and she makes me crave some fantasy every now and then, my first love in reading.
And I still have to read this Lara Adrian book, I received it a few weeks ago…

  2. I enjoy reading B’s comments on blogs that I also follow. She always has something good to say or added insight. 🙂

I am right there with you with Edge of Dawn. It was a brave move for Lara and I think it has been successful. I loved how she wrapped up things in Havard’s book, and I think that as the timeline moves forward, I will be equally wrapped up in the next generation!
