Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back the Month of Thanks. I had so much fun doing this last year that I thought I would recycle the program again this year. Each day I will highlight one book from 2013 that really stuck with me and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone (or book) that I love.

Story Rating: 4.25
Character Rating: 4.75First Thought When Finished: This was just too much fun! 🙂
What I Loved: What a freaking romping good time! I seriously giggled for most of Iced Chiffon. This was a case of someone hitting rock bottom and saying I am not going to put up with anymore. I am a big fan of cozy mysteries with leading characters that make me smile. Iced Chiffon delivered!

What I like best about Boeklogboek: She is one of the few bloggers that like Cozy Mysteries as much as I do (alright she loves them and always points me in the right direction)!
What I *heart* about Boeklogboek: She has fantastic reviews and reads a wonderful assortment of books. We tend to have very similar reading tastes where romance and UF are concerned. I can always depend on her to steer me in the right direction when I want to start a new series.
Why you should follow Boeklogboek: She is a fantastic blogger and her review are fantastic. You can totally tell what she truly thought about a book.

This was a book club read wasn’t it? I have it on my Goodreads TBR, and I think that is how I knew about it. I love books that make me smile and giggle.
Yay, Aurian! I love her! She’s my cozy mystery cousin, plus I love how she reviews “old school” romances too.
I hadn’t heard of Boeklogboek’s blog before. I love when there is a blogger you can really rely on for recommendations.
All these cozy romance talk has gotten to me…LOL
Now,I want to ask you for a recommendation for my first. This sounds pretty good, but I want to make sure if you think this the one that is going to make me fall in love with the genre, plus I got see if they have the audio version.
I will definitely be checking out Boeklogboek 🙂
Thanks!
Don’t start with this one (though it is fun) as a) it doesn’t have audio and b) I don’t think it is the right one for you to start with!
Do you like Xe Sands narration? If so try Heather Blake Wishcraft mysteries-it is a paranormal cozy mystery series.
I have a few others to suggest too 🙂 I will be emailing you!
I do love a good cozy. I’m definitely checking this series out!
Cozies and Aurian! Perfect combo!!
So love Aurian’s reviews. She does rock hard! 🙂
Iced Chiffon definitely on my TBR list next year. And thanks for the recommendation of another blog who loves cozies!!
Aurian is the best 🙂 Kind and such a cozy mystery lover, she broke me down in the end 😉
Ooo Thanks Felicia! I love your blog very much as well! And the book you chose is indeed the start of such a great and fun series.
