Month of Thanks

Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back the Month of Thanks. I had so much fun doing this last year that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.   Each day I will highlight one book from 2013 that really stuck with me and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone (or book) that I love.

Demon Restrained by Kelly Apple

Read for Fun (Kindle)
Overall Rating: 4.50
Story Rating: 4.25
Character Rating: 4.75

First Thought when Finished: Demon Restrained was a brilliantly executed short story! That is coming from a non-fan of short stories 🙂

What I Loved: Demon Restrained had great action, great characters, and some awesome smexy! Evie was a spectacular leading lady. Usually I am all about the hero but in this case, I truly think Evie was the hero of the story. Overall it was her actions, her smarts, and her gumption that facilitated the whole dang shebang!

Reading the Paranormal

What I like best about Reading the Paranormal: Kelly can read!  Man can she put away the books and it makes me just a little bit jealous (in a good, non-hating kind of way)

What I *heart* about Reading the Paranormal: Kelly is one of the most consistent and prolific bloggers I know.  She totally rocks the reviews and she is my “go-to” girl on Alien Romance.  That is my wicked guilty pleasure. I would have never found those wonderful cyborgs of Eva’s if not for her!

Why you should follow Reading the Paranormal: Kelly covers paranormal romance (ya to adult) that isn’t necessarily mainstream better than anyone I know!

I wasn’t surprised at all that I loved Demon Restrained. Everything she writes is entertaining from her tweets to her reviews. 😉

It was actually one of her reviews that got me to finally pick up the Black Dagger Brotherhood. The rest, as they say, is history. (That’s also when I discovered just how FAST she can read and when I lovingly dubbed her the Professional Speed Reading Demon.)

    Perfect choice Felicia 😉
