Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back the Month of Thanks. I had so much fun doing this last year that I thought I would recycle the program again this year. Each day I will highlight one book from 2013 that really stuck with me and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone (or book) that I love.

What I Loved: Skinwalker was not what I expected at all and I liked it! The split personality (for lack of a better description)of the lead character Jane made me not only like her but sort of understand her potential “love triangle” (though I am not a fan of them so I am hoping for quick resolution). I loved the mystery and side characters so very much (hoping we get more of the BF and daughter). This is a series I will stick with!

What I like best about Mother.Gamer.Writer: <—-She truly is all things and does a wonderful job at them. PLUS–she watches the best TV and is passionate about creativity!
What I *heart* about Mother.Gamer.Writer: There are many things I love about D: she is brilliant, funny, kind, and reads all over the freaking map! Her blog is full of reads that I don’t normally come across and she is very supportive of geek culture. How can I not love someone who gets my love of Comic Con!
Why you should follow Mother.Gamer.Writer: She has a little bit for everyone: YA, Scify, Manga, Graphic Novels, Game Reviews, and discussion posts!

Girl you rock….and I am so flattered by your kind words…Thanks for the tremendous honor!!!
I absolutely love this series Felicia, so glad you enjoyed it as well. The love triangle, hmm. Not sure you will like that, but Jane makes the choice…
This sounds like a blogger I need to be following! Thank you for sharing!
I couldn’t leave a comment on your review for Skinwalker so I’m doing it here. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I love the series and narration. It’s one of the series I will only listen to because Hvam is awesome! I’m currently listening to Blood Trade (latest release) and the series is still going strong.
Yeah I turned off comments on my tracking book reads posts. There will be a lot of them over the next few weeks so that all my read books are tracked.
I really did like book 1 and while I think the triangle will eventually get on my nerves. I think I will at least understand it better as she does have 2 distinct personalities 🙂
I’ve heard that blog name around but haven’t checked it out — and I need to because I’ve gotten back into gaming and ComicCon is on my bucket list. Someday. SOMEDAY!!
Comic Con is on my bucket list too. I always go the Dallas ones but would love to go to San Diego!
I love this series though it’s precisely the romance aspect of the series that sometimes doesn’t work perfectly for me. That being said, I adore Jane Yellowrock. This is absolutely one my favorite UF series! And I recently just started following Mother. Gamer. Writer. Love the reviews!
I think the romance will get on my nerves as the series progresses. I was impressed with the mystery side though and will stick with it if that continues to be strong!
Alas Skinwalker, did not work for me :/
🙁 I was talking to another gal it didn’t work for either so you are not alone.
I’ve been meaning to read this one for ages..everyone seems to really love it!
I really enjoyed it! Doesn’t work for everyone but I liked the uniqueness of the character!
