Month of Thanks

Hi Y’all! It is November and I am bringing back the Month of Thanks. I had so much fun doing this last year that I thought I would recycle the program again this year.   Each day I will highlight one book from 2013 that really stuck with me and one blogger (and their awesomeness) that I am thankful for! These are not in any particular order and by no means is 30 going to cover everyone (r book) that I love.

Christmas on 4th Street by Susan Mallery

Read for Review (NetGalley)
Overall Rating: 4.75
Story Rating: 4.50
Character Rating: 5.00

First Thought when Finished: Christmas on 4th Street reminded me why there is no Christmas like a Fool’s Gold Christmas!

What I Loved about Christmas on 4th Street:  I loved that we kind of got two romances (or at least the budding of another one), Christmas the way only Fool’s Gold can do it, and glimpses of most of the couples from the series up to this point.  It really was lovely.

What I like best about Rainy Day Ramblings:  Heidi is my girl!  She is just delightful, sweet, and really an all-around good friend!

Why I *heart* Rainy Day Ramblings: I don’t know how Heidi does what she does!  She is a fantastic mom, wonderful person, and great wife.  Then she writes the most amazing reviews, seems to be super organized, and even writes with tons of personality.  She has so much talent that I just bow to her greatness!

Why you should follow Rainy Day Ramblings: She really does have a lot going on at her blog even when it is her “down” time (we clearly have two different definitions of that LOL)!

  1. As soon as I get all Jill Shalvis, Shannon Stacey & Kristan Higgins caught up, I am going to love the face off of Mallery. Dang It! I should just work her in and start the love affair.

Rainy Days is awesome. Always has LOTS going on.

    • They are written in 4’s so you don’t have to read the whole series just start with the first in the set of 4 🙂 This is the last one in this set so the next book will start the next 4! Same town but it follows a set of friends. I still haven’t read the first 4 in the series though I will.

  2. Adding this to my list — I don’t read Christmas books before mid-December (because I’m very Grinchy until then…after, like, the 18th, I become less Grinchy) but I love to read Christmas books around that time!

  3. I just got this book and plan to pick it up soon. Glad to see you thought it was good. Having fun checking out some new blogs based on your recommendation too.

  4. I have this book from Netgalley! Must sneak it in this holiday season, especially since you think so highly of it.

Thanks for all the great book and blog recs this month 🙂

  5. Ahh thanks girl. That is so sweet. Such kind words. I wish you could come over for a visit some time. I can’t wait to read this book. I have a copy and am eager to dig in. Thank you again for the sweet shout out. You made my day! Hugs!
